Terminology:
Upcard - this is the card that determines the values of wild cards.
Wild cards - these are the other cards of the same suit as the upcard, but their value must be higher. They are depicted in the game as jokers. For example, if the upcard is a 3 of hearts, then the wild card will be a 4 of hearts. When creating combinations, wild cards can replace a card of any suit and value.
Star card - this is a blank card, the value and suit of which is determined by the wild card. This card only replaces cards that have the same value and suit on the wild card.
Row - a set of three or four cards with the same number, but of different suits, for example 7 diamonds, 7 spades and 7 hearts.
Sequence - this is a combination of three or more cards of the same suit in sequential order, for example 4 hearts, 5 hearts and 6 hearts.
