The rules of red dog poker are very simple.
All cards are the same as in standard poker. The suits do not matter and the aces are always the highest card.

The rules explained in this article affect the online game of red dog poker. When you play online you always face the croupier, i.e. there are no other players but the two of you.
Ante bet
At the beginning of the game you have to place your initial (ante) bet on the table. Betting takes place before you have the opportunity to see your cards.
Dealing
The croupier deals two cards face up, leaving room for a third between them.
Once the two cards are on the table, you have to guess whether the third card will be between the two in value.
At this point, you need to remember the value of the cards and consider that the two is the lowest and the ace is the highest card.
Raise or check
If you think that the third card will be between the two face up cards, you can choose the raise option, which doubles your ante bet.
If you do not think that the drawn third card will be between the two - then you choose check and continue only with your ante bet.
End of the game
The player wins if the third card (the one in the middle) falls in between the two face up cards. Example: We have 2 and 7 initially and then the third between them is 5 - the player wins.
However, if the third card is not by value between the shown cards, the player loses. Example: We have 5 and 7, the only chance to win is if 6 is drawn as a third card. The croupier draws a jack - the card is not between the two and the player loses.
If the two drawn cards are consecutive or a pair - the game ends in a draw and the player receives his ante bet back.
If it turns out that there are three identical cards on the table - the player wins his ante bet in a ratio 11 to 1.
