First, you should know that 48 cards are used - a deck of 52 cards, from which the aces are removed (they, in turn, are placed on the starting line of the field).
There are two possible bets on this game. One of them is "Ante Post", while the other is called "With Form".
In "Ante Post" you have to choose one of the suits and each bet, in case of a win, is paid out at 3.75 to 1. After the bet is made, the first seven cards from the deck will be dealt.
In case you place a "With Form" bet, the first seven cards will be dealt immediately afterwards. Depending on how many cards are withdrawn from each suit, the odds will be determined. You can then bet on any of the four suits.
The game eliminates the possibility of removing five or more cards from any suit, as this would make it impossible to win because there would not be enough cards left to reach the finish line.
After all the above steps are completed - bets placed, cards turned over, the competition begins with the remaining 41 cards. They are turned one by one. When dealing each of them, the ace of this suit will be moved one position forward. For example the drawn card is clubs, the ace of clubs will advance. If the face-up card is hearts, move the ace of hearts forward and so on.
The game continues till one of the aces make eight moves forward. The first suit from which eight cards are drawn wins. If, for example, an ace of spades is the first to advance by eight moves, it wins, respectively, all those who bet on the spade win. You see, it's not difficult at all.
